Rosalind Gardner covers several subjects that most other authors either skip or just mention in passing. For instance, one of the most important and helpful parts of “The Super Affiliate Handbook” is the section on how to track your results. Most other Internet marketers underscore the importance of doing this, but they don't tell you how. Rosalind Gardner doesn't emphasize the importance of doing this, she also tells you how she does it. And she shows you the spreadsheets she herself uses to track her number of visitors, buyers etc. This is a very valuable part of this book. It's just a shame that you don't get the spreadsheet templates themselves, so that you can use them in your business. You just get a screen view over the templates.

Now, it isn't that difficult to create these templates yourself. If you have Microsoft Excell (or another similar program) installed on your computer, you can easily create these templates yourself. But it would have been easier if you got them together with the book.

Rosalind Gardner also leads you through the formula for calculating your conversion rate. This formula is of course well known, but it's really fine that she has included it in the book. If you want to track your ad results this formula is indispensable.

As I mentioned above, one of the things I like the most about “The Super Affiliate Handbook” is the degree to which Rosalind Gardner gives you all the details of how to become a super affiliate. She covers…

- How to decide whether you have what it takes to start your own Internet business
- The importance of making a plan for your business
- Rosalind Gardner's own software recommendations
- How to filter away bad products and find the kind of products that'll earn you a nice income as an affiliate
- How to market the affiliate products
Etc., etc.

“The Super Affiliate Handbook” contains so much valuable information that I'm really impressed. But despite the amount of information, you get enough details to get a grasp of each step in the process. And you never loose the overview.

There are only two parts of the book where I would like to get a few more details.

The first part is Rosalind Gardner's coverage of how to track your results. I've already mentioned this above and commended Rosalind Gardner for what she indeed has included about this subject in “The Super Affiliate Handbook”. As I said above, just the fact that Rosalind Gardner covers this subject, makes “The Super Affiliate Handbook” stands out among most of here competitors. And especially the spreadsheet templates included in the book are extremely valuable.

However, to make the book perfect, I would like to get even more details about exactly how to track and test all moves in an affiliate business.

I don't say this subtract from all the positive words I've said above about this part of “The Super Affiliate Handbook”. It's just that, considering the many details of the rest of the book, it would have added even more to the value of the book if you got even more specific descriptions in the section.

The second part is Rosalind Gardner's coverage of pre-selling. If you'd like to become a super affiliate, the ability to pre-sell is vitally important. Actually I think Rosalind Gardner could have elaborated even more on this important topic. She does give you some ideas about how to pre-sell, but I still miss a few more step-by-step descriptions.

However, if you'd like to see one of the best practical examples on pre-selling that I've ever seen, you should look upon Rosalind Gardner's book from this perspective. By this I mean, “The Super Affiliate Handbook” itself is a brilliant example on how you can pre-sell affiliate products. The book is filled with affiliate links, and the text in the book is how Rosalind Gardner pre-sells these products.

Still a bit skeptical, I purchased it anyway. However, I'm happy to tell you I was pleasantly surprised with its contents.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs is 106 pages of solid information on how to best train your abs. Not only does author Mike Geary recommend the proper exercises, but he discusses diet and offers meal suggestions as well. (I should also note that most of the book focuses on ab exercise and strength training.)

Mike is a personal trainer, which makes him a very credible source on the subject. I also liked the fact that he gives customers his email address and sends a helpful newsletter with great workout tips. He seems to genuinely want to help people and not just concerned about selling his book.

OK, back to my review...

First of all, Mike begins by explaining the various sections of the abdominal regions. While this part did take me back to 7th grade science class, it really is important that you understand this because many people end up trying to work the wrong areas when they exercise. You really should know the basic sections of the abs.

My favorite part of the book was where he listed the best exercises for your abs (over 20 of them) AND he provided clear, color pictures so you can actually see how to do them.
I will tell you that most of the exercises he mentions are probably best performed in a gym, but if you have some weights, you can also do many of them in your home. He also shows you how to get the most out of a fitness ball - another great way to work your abs.

I learned a lot from Mike's book...much more than I expected to. For example, I didn't know that it's really best to do your ab training at the end of your cardio workout because the ab muscles stabilize your back and you can pre-exhaust them if you do your ab exercises first.
See? Ya learn something everyday! :-)

The reason I am recommending this book to my visitors is because it answers a lot of the questions about professional training that I cannot.
I get emails all the time about weight training, etc. and now I'm happy to refer people to Mike's book... especially since he has the credentials.

When you see other women with rock-hard abs and toned middles, they most likely did more than basic crunches to achieve that look. You don't necessarily have to work toward a six pack, but you can use this book to simply flatten and strengthen your middle.

The term "strength training" doesn't necessarily mean weight lifting. You can also build strength by performing certain exercises on a fitness ball. As I mentioned, Mike shows you how to use those too.

Okay, enough with the beating up on fat people. I realize a lot of them can't help the plight that they are in.

You'd think a hard nosed guy like me wouldn't have taken a second look at a girl like her. Well, initially, that was kind of true. Fat or not, she always had a pretty face and a perky, lively smile and her voice was like the angels talking.

We met at the *deleted for security purposes* School of Halitosis, er, I mean School of Hypnosis. Yeah, I was just returning home after an 18 month tour of duty at the Pentagon, I had mad money to burn, and I always had an interest in hypnosis.

So I signed up for this three month certification course to become a “certified” hypnotherapist. I know. It really sounds touchy-feely and everyone in that class was. I was like the gun-toting libertarian party crasher among a gang of progressive lefty liberals.

One day we were doing some kind of kooky regression script and my wife-to-be was the hypno-guinea pig. Something in the session brought my wife-to-be to tears and it all revolved around the lonely smoking hole in her life without having a true love.

BOOM. It was like the world shifted, something fell away from my eyes, and I had that tiny little voice talk to me. You know the one. The voice that knows something about what you should be paying attention to but doesn't scream at you loudly to get your attention.

It's just a little voice. Hardly even noticeable. It said: You should pay attention to this girl.

I suddenly looked at her as a kindred spirit. Because I had the same lonely smoking hole in my life without a true love, too.

We started chumming around after that. Would go out to dinner at the restaurant near the school and talk. Actually, she did all the talking. I mostly listened to her talk. She told me that she was most impressed about that.
My just listening. And not talking over her with superlatives beginning with ME, MYSELF, or I. She didn't know that a man could actually sit there and LISTEN to what a girl had to say. I guess I won some brownie points on that count.

We discovered a lot of commonalities and I discovered that her pretty face was a clue about something else…she was one hot babe looking for the right kind of encouragement to reestablish a relationship with her weight.

She Wasn't Always a Fat Girl

For most of her life, she was one hot tamale. Through her teens and twenties, she was the girl that guys fell off the sidewalk jerking their heads around when she walked by. She did some modeling type pictures during these days and she was the archetypal BABE.

But then she spent three years in a bad relationship to a guy that didn't have a clue as to the real treasure he had in his midst. My wife has always wanted to be just that. A wife. The guy she was with couldn't make up his mind on this issue to save his life.

Is this book the best fitness book? I had to see this book myself and decided to give it a review.

The book is really solid and has not a single picture although there are some tables of information so there is a lot of reading to do. I will not review each chapter individually but instead would like to go through an overview of the sections of the book as well as list some points that the author raises.

First section: Introduction
The author stresses the importance of some principles such as no quick fixes, weight loss is not the same as fat loss and that the book is not even just about fat loss but more about making people healthier.

Second section: Goal setting, strategies and motivation.
As we all know goal setting is very important to reaching what you want with your health and although I have written extensively about this subject in the past Tom Venuto has done an admirable job in really crystallizing the art of goal setting so that it will work much better for almost anyone.

Third section: Body types, how to identify what you need
This is the first place in this book where I like the way that Tom Venuto has really broken down how people have different body types. Almost every trainer I have ever seen thinks that every person's body will react the same way with the same diet and exercise and this book stops that idea dead in its tracks.

Fourth section: Eating, Food, Liquids, and actual meal plans
The author covers a couple of very important points that are very often overlooked in most other books and those are proper intake of liquids and foods that you should eat. Tom Venuto uses about 20 pages to cover foods that you should and should not eat including replacements for some of the bad foods that you are already eating.

Fifth section: Supplements
Tom Venuto and I are of essentially the same mind on the use of supplements and how this industry is very good at marketing many overpriced products with very little benefits to almost any user unless they are in a very sickly state. Let's face it, in North America our prosperity has not lead most people to under eat so the supplementation is not the most important thing. However, Tom Venuto has included information on the most important supplements and I was a little surprised but happy to see how straightforward he is about many of the supplements in the bodybuilding industry and the effect that magazines advertising has had on the objectiveness if those magazines.

Sixth section: Cardio training
We all know how important exercise is in losing weight and the diet that has been created in Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is definitely geared toward having both cardio and weight training as an essential part of the package. I have never seen a diet that did not at least mention exercise but this book stresses it as very important part of the equation and many other diets would do their followers more justice by stressing a lot more exercise.

Seventh section: Weight training
What would you expect from a natural bodybuilding champion. Tom Venuto covers the exercises that you should do to gain strength and muscle as easily as possible and goes into a lot of detail with tactics that you have never seen before.

Most abs books are a waste of your money. Mainly because if you've read one, you've read them all. So as a rule, I don't usually buy them unless highly recommended by someone else.

When I first skimmed the sales page for the book, I have to admit I almost didn't buy it because the copy looked a little hyped up and pitchy. It sounded like all the rest.

But what drew me in was that the author kept emphasizing the same points I talk about on this site when it comes to the myths on flattening your belly so I became intrigued.

Still a bit skeptical, I purchased it anyway. However, I'm happy to tell you I was pleasantly surprised with its contents.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs is 106 pages of solid information on how to best train your abs. Not only does author Mike Geary recommend the proper exercises, but he discusses diet and offers meal suggestions as well. (I should also note that most of the book focuses on ab exercise and strength training.)

Mike is a personal trainer, which makes him a very credible source on the subject. I also liked the fact that he gives customers his email address and sends a helpful newsletter with great workout tips. He seems to genuinely want to help people and not just concerned about selling his book.

OK, back to my review...

First of all, Mike begins by explaining the various sections of the abdominal regions. While this part did take me back to 7th grade science class, it really is important that you understand this because many people end up trying to work the wrong areas when they exercise. You really should know the basic sections of the abs.

My favorite part of the book was where he listed the best exercises for your abs (over 20 of them) AND he provided clear, color pictures so you can actually see how to do them.
I will tell you that most of the exercises he mentions are probably best performed in a gym, but if you have some weights, you can also do many of them in your home. He also shows you how to get the most out of a fitness ball - another great way to work your abs.

I learned a lot from Mike's book...much more than I expected to. For example, I didn't know that it's really best to do your ab training at the end of your cardio workout because the ab muscles stabilize your back and you can pre-exhaust them if you do your ab exercises first.
See? Ya learn something everyday! :-)

The reason I am recommending this book to my visitors is because it answers a lot of the questions about professional training that I cannot.

When you see other women with rock-hard abs and toned middles, they most likely did more than basic crunches to achieve that look. You don't necessarily have to work toward a six pack, but you can use this book to simply flatten and strengthen your middle.

The term "strength training" doesn't necessarily mean weight lifting. You can also build strength by performing certain exercises on a fitness ball. As I mentioned, Mike shows you how to use those too.

Most abs books are a waste of your money. Mainly because if you've read one, you've read them all. So as a rule, I don't usually buy them unless highly recommended by someone else.
But after reading The Truth About Six Pack Abs I couldn't wait to get to my computer to write this review. It was the best book on ab training that I've ever read and if you follow it, you will see results.

When I first skimmed the sales page for the book, I have to admit I almost didn't buy it because the copy looked a little hyped up and pitchy. It sounded like all the rest.

But what drew me in was that the author kept emphasizing the same points I talk about on this site when it comes to the myths on flattening your belly so I became intrigued.

Still a bit skeptical, I purchased it anyway. However, I'm happy to tell you I was pleasantly surprised with its contents.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs is 106 pages of solid information on how to best train your abs. Not only does author Mike Geary recommend the proper exercises, but he discusses diet and offers meal suggestions as well. (I should also note that most of the book focuses on ab exercise and strength training.)

Mike is a personal trainer, which makes him a very credible source on the subject. I also liked the fact that he gives customers his email address and sends a helpful newsletter with great workout tips. He seems to genuinely want to help people and not just concerned about selling his book.

OK, back to my review...

First of all, Mike begins by explaining the various sections of the abdominal regions. While this part did take me back to 7th grade science class, it really is important that you understand this because many people end up trying to work the wrong areas when they exercise. You really should know the basic sections of the abs.

My favorite part of the book was where he listed the best exercises for your abs (over 20 of them) AND he provided clear, color pictures so you can actually see how to do them.
I will tell you that most of the exercises he mentions are probably best performed in a gym, but if you have some weights, you can also do many of them in your home. He also shows you how to get the most out of a fitness ball - another great way to work your abs.

I learned a lot from Mike's book...much more than I expected to. For example, I didn't know that it's really best to do your ab training at the end of your cardio workout because the ab muscles stabilize your back and you can pre-exhaust them if you do your ab exercises first.
See? Ya learn something everyday! :-)

The reason I am recommending this book to my visitors is because it answers a lot of the questions about professional training that I cannot.

When you see other women with rock-hard abs and toned middles, they most likely did more than basic crunches to achieve that look. You don't necessarily have to work toward a six pack, but you can use this book to simply flatten and strengthen your middle.

The term "strength training" doesn't necessarily mean weight lifting. You can also build strength by performing certain exercises on a fitness ball. As I mentioned, Mike shows you how to use those too.
